The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch has made a new appearance with the model 310.30.42.50.04.001 featuring a white dial. One of the major highlights is the white dial with the red “Speedmaster” text. The inspiration for the white dial comes from the top-secret “Alaska Project” that Omega and NASA completed in 1969. The case of the watch measures 42mm and is made of stainless steel, paired with a black anodized ceramic bezel with a tachometer scale featuring the iconic Dot over 90. This watch is designed for enthusiasts of the Speedmaster Moonwatch. It is powered by Omega’s new Master Chronometer 3861 movement, which is an upgraded version of the legendary 321 movement trusted by moon landing astronauts. Compared to the previous 3861 transparent back version of the Moonwatch, there are only two differences: 1. The white lacquer surface gives a porcelain-like texture at certain angles; 2. The black PVD hands contrast sharply with the dial, enhancing legibility.
