The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch collection has a new addition: the 310.30.42.50.04.001 white dial model. One of its major highlights is the white dial with the red “Speedmaster” text. The inspiration for the white dial comes from the top-secret “Alaska Project” that Omega and NASA completed in 1969. The watch has a 42mm case made of stainless steel and is paired with a black anodized ceramic bezel with a distinctive Dot over 90 tachometer scale. It is designed specifically for Speedmaster Moonwatch enthusiasts. It is powered by Omega’s new 3861 Master Chronometer movement, which is an upgraded version of the legendary 321 movement trusted by moon landing astronauts. Compared to the previous 3861 transparent back model of the Moonwatch, there are only two differences: 1. The white lacquer surface gives a porcelain-like texture at certain angles; 2. The black PVD hands contrast sharply with the dial, enhancing legibility.
